The World Bank hired the American corporation Tetra Tech to support the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Economy and Planning and the National Center for Privatizations, in the preparation of manuals and a framework for managing privatization, divestment, and PPPs processes at a national level in the strategic sectors of the Saudi Vision 2030 plan, including infrastructure, energy, and technology.
This project, initiated in Riyadh, required training government employees from various departments on privacy management using IAPP standards. The objective was to prepare these professionals to take the CIPM exam, increasing their expertise in the privacy domain. Additionally, they were trained on the nuances of a new privacy law, its effective implementation, and its integration with their data management framework, promoting a holistic and robust approach to data privacy and security within their respective governmental departments.
The Government of Guatemala sought assistance from the Deloitte-Tetra Tech consortium to facilitate the concession process of the La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City. This involved comprehensive support in financial, legal, and technical aspects to ensure a successful concession arrangement. Tetra Tech, a renowned global engineering and consulting firm, brought their expertise in infrastructure development and project management to contribute to the project’s effective implementation and optimization.
The project under the public-private partnership (PPP) scheme aims to modernize, expand, and enhance the security of the airport, with an estimated investment of US $175,000,000.
